It’s a man’s nature to go out and Climb Mountains, sail the seas and touch the deepest oceans and challenge the nature. By trying to do these things we touch something out side ourselves, and reveal in the illusion that we are the masters of our world. But everyone one of us should never forget that even if we climb the tallest mountains and travel the deepest oceans we are still dwarfed by the nature and its forces.

Tour De Dubai ( Ibn Batuta Mall)

In the second tour of sight seeing in Dubai we visited Ibn Batuta Mall. This mall was constructed as a tribute to a globe trotter named Ibn Batuta. He had travelled extensively all over the world. His travelling scaled from Russia to SriLanka and South America to Japan. This mall has been divide into various courts namely Moroccan court, Indian court,Persian court, Chinese court and Egyptian court. Every court displays the specialities of that specific region.
We first visited the Moroccan Court. In this part there were beautifully carved wind towers. The ceiling of the mall was made to look like open sky. The Moroccan style of architecture was evidently visible i this court. There were date palms all over. The sand brown colour was extensively used in the construction. The artificial sky created almost resembled the real open sky.
Now we moved on to the Persian Court. In the Persian court the domes were dominantly present. The Arabic style of architecture could be seen all over the place. The minarets were constructed spoke out about the lifestyle and the geographical conditions of the Persia. The coloured glass was used in the wind towers.
Next came the Indian court. The architecture was Mughal styled. The dome resembled that of the Taj Mahal. The inner side of the dome was beautifully carved and painted. There was an elephant on display. The elephant carried an "Ambari" on its back. Ibn Batuta was seated in the Ambari. The ambari had sculptures of a dragon and a n Eagle head.
Now it was the time to be in China. The highlight of this court was a huge Chinese ship. The trapezoidal sails of the ship were omnipresent on the ship. The Chinese court was mainly coloured in the dark shade of red. There were designs depicting dragons and pagodas. The red coloured walls gave a feeling of being a part of ancient china. Every minutest detail was shown and paid attention to.
Last but not the least it was the Egyptian court. In here Pharaohs and Egyptian pyramids were the center of atraction. There were wall paintings of Pheonix, pharaohs, and other characters of the egyptian mythology. The pillars constituted of colourfull paintings. Here too the sand brown colour was largely used.
Thus after visiting five regions of the world our tour to Ibn Batuta Mall came to a halt.
